Day 3

On the final day at Cardigan we woke up later around 7 am and we headed down stairs for breakfast. We had sausage eggs and french toast casserole. Since the bus was coming at noon we had to go on a short hike that day so when everyone was ready we hiked to go see the waterfall. It wasn’t a very long hike but it was about a mile and on the way there we had lunch and crossed a couple rivers. When we got there we tested the temp and pH of the water. After we looked around for a little bit Mr. Woolner told us a story about a tree and then finally we hiked back to the amc lodge. At the lodge we had to take a quick survey and then we finally took the bus back to school.

On the last day at Cardigan we saw a lot of Human Environment Interaction, Human Environment Interaction is when humans change the environment or when the environment changes humans. Some examples of us seeing Human Environment Interaction were when we walked past old cellar holes dug into the ground by humans, another example were all of the water bars, the carvings at the summit, the fire tower and the manmade pond.

We had a great third day at Cardigan
